'If you think you are a mother, pls act like one' - Uju Stella tells Burna Boy's mother

Uju Stella who is allegedly pregnant for Burna Boy, has reacted to comments made by his mother that they don’t have time for her. In an interview with Punch today, Burna Boy's mum was quoted to have said it is not a criminal offence for a lady to be pregnant for any guy, that if a girl claims she is pregnant for somebody and the person refuses to accept it, she is meant to look for his family instead of taking it to the public.

Burna Boy's mum also said her son is yet to say anything about the issue and they are only focusing on his music right now and don't know anything about any pregnancy, that girls always come up with pregnancy claims. Uju Stella took to her IG to respond to the comment. What she wrote after the cut

Wednesday daily devotional by Pastor E. A. Adeboye (Open Heavens 18 May 2016) – A Giant Killer?

Topic: A Giant Killer? [Wednesday 18, May 2016]

Memorise: For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live. – Romans 8:13

Read: Colossians 3:1-6 (KJV)

1 If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.

2 Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.

3 For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.

4 When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.

5 Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry:

6 For which things' sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience:

Bible in One Year: 1 Chronicles 1:1- 4:23, Proverbs 26:1-14

MESSAGE:

David is the biblical man for all seasons, the most complex and many-sided human character in the scripture. David was variously a shepherd, fugitive, politician, King, poet, musician, prophet, warrior, friend (of Jonathan), lover, father, sinner (adulterer and murderer), penitent and "type" of Christ. David is unique among bible characters by virtue of being fully known to us, both from the outside (as subject of narrative writing) and from the inside (as writer of lyric poems). While many post biblical exegetical and literally traditions take extravagant liberties with biblical data, the traditions stemming from David can all find biblical basis. This includes the Puritan image of David the reformer, the true child of God resisting the assault of a tyrannical King (Saul), beset by slanders and enemies; the champion who fought against Gods enemies, the king who reformed the nation and established worship on a holy foundation. The role in David best known to the western imagination is that of a boy, hero and giant killer. When David killed Goliath, he became an instant public hero, a civic liberator providing possible inspiration for fictional heroes, following in his wake from Beowulf to Jack (of the beanstalk). To this day we read in the newspapers about someone pulling off a "little David" act in sports or politics, or about David and Goliath contest. David success in expanding the territory of Israel was unequaled in the annals of Israeli history.

David's career as a national hero was preceded by his career as an underdog. The youngest son, belittled by his older siblings (1 Samuel 17:28-29), David was considered so unlikely a candidate among Jesse's son to be anointed as future king that he had to be summoned from tending the sheep after the other brothers had been passed over (1 Samuel 16:6-11). Subsequently, he had a career as a fugitive, fleeing from the wrathful Saul, living continuous on the edge. There is even a touch of David as a rebel and a desperado. Jesus citied David as a precedent for disobeying the Levitical laws on the basis of the time when David took consecrated bread to feed his hungry men and also ate from it too (Matthew 12:3-4). There is David the political strategist. Even after he was anointed King of Judah, David had to undertake a long process of consolidating his power until he eventually became King of the entire nation (2 Samuel 25).

Anyone who has ever been to Sunday School probably knows the story of David and Goliath, in fact, the concept of a boy giant-killer excites when the imaginations of unbelievers. And we'll it should. Not only is this an actual historical event and a wonderful Bible story to tell our children, it is also a powerful demonstration of victorious spiritual warfare. It is a story we need to revisit often as we mature in the Lord. The imagery in this story is rich with profound spiritual truths and insights that can help strengthen our own understanding of how to engage effectively in spiritual battle. With your study group, read through this passage, ask the Holy Spirit to open your mind and heart to new truths, and then together to begin to "mine" the rich treasure contained in this passage.

Prayer Point: Father, please give me the grace to achieve greater fears than David.

Arnold Schwarzenegger And Wife Maria Reunite For Son's Graduation

On 14 may when Patrick Schwarzenegger graduated from the University of Southern California  his divorced parents, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver, came together to celebrate their son

Patrick Schwarzenegger reached a milestone on May 14, when the 22-year-old actor graduated from the University of Southern California’s School of Business. But to make the day even more exciting, both of his parents Arnold Schwarzenegger, 68, and Maria Shriver, 60, reunited to be by their son and watch him get his degree — despite their estranged status!

Posing in between Maria and Arnold, Patrick grinned from ear to ear in his cap, gown, and USC stole. “Wouldn’t be anywhere without these two. Thank you for everything and love yah both,” he captioned the sweet pic, which shows Arnold proudly smiling and Maria giving her son a smooch on the cheek.

As if it wasn’t sweet enough for Patrick’s parents to reunite for their son’s big day, both Arnold and Maria shared heartfelt messages on their personal Instagrams. They couldn’t contain how proud they were!

This is the first time we have seen Maria and Arnold together in a while, but clearly they couldn’t miss the momentous occasion. Arnold and Maria have been separated since 2011, when Arnold admitted to having an affair and fathering a child with his mistress.

Although their divorce is still not yet finalized, the two haven’t exactly hinted that they’ll be getting together anytime soon. But with one more son left to graduate college (Christopher Schwarzenegger, who is currently 18 years old), we know we’ll be seeing another Maria/Arnold reunion in the future!

ISIS kills Christians for refusing to convert to Islam in sickening video (photos

ISIS, the world's most dangerous Terrorist group released a sickening video where they gruesomely killed Ethiopian Christians for refusing to convert to Islam  according to reports by Express UK.

Ethiopian Christians in the video can be seen dressed in orange jumpsuits with dozens of masked terrorists standing behind them by the beach side.
The 29-minute video, which has been brought down by Youtube, shows the jihadis separate the Christians into two groups on a beach in Libya before shooting and cutting off the heads of about 16 Christians after they refused converting to Islam.

ISIS say the Christians did not pay a compulsory religious ISIS tax and were left with one option - to convert or be killed.

ISIS in the video also referred to the men as "followers of the cross from the enemy Ethiopian Church".

FG replies Cameron, says "You must be looking at the old snapshot of Nigeria"

The presidency has replied British Prime minister, David Cameron, over his comment today that Nigeria and Afghanistan were possibly the two most corrupt countries in the world. In a statement released by the Senior Special Assistant to President Buhari on Media and Publicity, Shehu Garba, the Federal Government said Cameron's statement is certainly not reflective of President Buhari's work against corruption

"This is embarrassing to us, to say the least, given the good work that the President is doing. The eyes of the world are on what is happening here. It(Cameron's statement) is certainly not reflective of the good work that the president is doing. The eyes of the world are on what is happening here. The Prime Minister must be looking at an old snapshot of Nigeria. Things are changing with corruption and everything else. That, we believe is the reason they chose him as a keynote speaker at the pre-summit conference.”‎the statement said.

Former Akwa Ibom governor arrested over Diezani’s alleged $115 million sleaze

A former Military Administrator of Akwa Ibom State and chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Idongesit Nkanga, has been arrested by operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
Mr. Nkanga, a retired air commodore, is accused of receiving N450,000,000(Four Hundred and Fifty Million Naira only) from the sleazy $115million deposited by former Minister of Petroleum Resources, Diezani Alison-Madueke, with Fidelity Bank Plc.
EFCC insiders said the former governor was arrested in Port- Harcourt, the Rivers State capital on Monday.
Sources said Mr. Nkanga was alleged to have collected the money in two tranches, from one Saint-Anthony Ejiowu, a staff of Fidelity Bank in Uyo, the Akwa Ibom State capital.
The first tranche of the money – N350,000,000 (Three Hundred and Fifty Thousand Million Naira only) was paid to the politician on March 27, 2015, our sources said.
Mr. Nkanga allegedly received the second tranche of N100,000,000 (One Hundred Million Naira only) on March 31, 2015.
“He is in the custody of the EFCC and would be charged to court soon,” an official told PREMIUM TIMES.
The EFCC arrested the former governor just as the Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission, Mahmood Yakubu, assured Nigerians that the Commission would cooperate with the anti-graft agency in regarding its personnel named in the scandal.
According to a statement by the commission’s Director, Voters’ Education and Publicity, Oluwole Ozaze-Uzzi on Monday, Mr. Yakubu gave the assurance during a meeting with editors in Lagos.
“Whatever level of cooperation any of the agencies requires of the Commission, we will give that level of cooperation because it is also in a bid to sanitize the system,” Mr. Yakubu was quoted as saying.
“I hope also it (investigation) will extend to the givers not just the takers so that there will be collective sanity. Whoever violates the law of this land and there are questions to answer, the person should answer, the person should bear his own cross.
“All the staff that are fingered are individuals. It is not a collective institutional thing. They should go and answer for what they have alleged to have done.”
Some staff of the electoral body were alleged to have received a cumulative N23 billion in bribe from Mrs. Alison-Madueke, through Fidelity Bank.
Prominent among the accused INEC staff were Gesila Khan, the Resident Electoral Commissioner who had earlier been arrested by the State Security Service over allegations of inducement to rig elections in Rivers State; and Uluochi Obi Brown (INEC’s Administrative Secretary in Delta State), former Deputy Director of INEC in Cross River state, Edem Okon Effanga, and the Head of Voter Education in INEC in Akwa Ibom, Immaculata Asuquo.
Also under investigation is retired INEC official, Sani Isa, who allegedly collected bribe on behalf of the deceased Resident Electoral Commissioner in Kano State, Mukaila Abdullahi.
Also two unnamed former INEC chiefs were said to have participated in aiding the flow of the bribe money.

The alleged bribery scandal involved bank chiefs, including Sterling Bank Chief Executive, Yemi Adeola, the removed Managing Director of Fidelity Bank, Nnamdi Okonkwo and Access Bank Managing Director, Hubert Wigwe, who allegedly assisted Mrs. Alison-Maduekwe in laundering part of the fund which was allegedly handed to INEC staff in a plot to influence outcomes of the 2015 presidential poll.
The integrity of the elections in the South-South region, particularly Rivers State, has been questioned by many organisations, including foreign observers and the Transition Monitoring Group (TMG) whose report claimed results in the oil-rich region were inflated.
A citizen group, Enough is Enough, last week filed a Freedom of Information request asking EFCC to disclose identities of the former INEC chiefs, all the electoral staff and civil society organizations involved in the alleged bribery.
