Buhari cancels the 'N5,000 Largesse' To Unemployed Nigerians

President, Muhammadu Buhari has said he won't be giving N5000 monthly stipend to unemployed Nigerians as is being bandied around.

The President disclosed that he has a different priority and approach to rewarding unemployed Nigerians other than to  pay the N5,000 monthly stipends his party promised.
Buhari made the remark in Saudi Arabia while he performed his lesser hajj before leaving for Doha in Qatar.
The President said he would rather channel resources into the building of infrastructure, education, agriculture and mining to create employment opportunities for able bodied young men.

In his words, "This largesse N5,000 for the unemployed, I have got a slightly different priority. I would rather do the infrastructure, the school and correct them and empower agriculture, mining so that every able bodied person can go and get work instead of giving N5,000 to those who don't work."

Robert Mugabe's $1million-dollar 92nd Birthday Party Sparks Criticism in Zimbabwe

Zimbabwe's President Robert Mugabe days ago marked his 92nd birthday at a $1.1 million party organised by his supporters.

This party has however drawn criticism from his opponents who said the celebrations in the drought-stricken country was an affront to his countrymen.

Mr Mugabe, Africa's oldest leader, turned 92 on February 21 and thousands of his party supporters gathered to pay tribute to the country's only leader since independence from Britain in 1980. He has shown no intention of stepping down.

Mr Mugabe, who was accompanied by his wife, Grace, and their children, released 92 balloons and
sat listening to poetry readings, songs and chants by supporters hailing him as an African icon and a visionary.

A giant cake made to look like the ancient ruins for which Zimbabwe is named was set out in a nearby marquee. School children, foreign diplomats, government ministers and security chiefs were also present.

Pupurai Togarepi, ZANU-PF's youth leader said 50,000 people were expected to attend and defended spending $1.1 million on the birthday celebrations.
"Money is not the issue here. You cannot put a price on the contribution of President Mugabe to the history and development of this nation. All these things are worth more than money," Mr Togarepi told Reuters.
The opposition Movement for Democratic Change (MDC) however called the celebrations "obscene". They said:
"The obscenity of this particular exercise is that he throws this bash not just based on public funds... but he does it in one of the worst-affected drought-stricken parts of the country.
ZANU-PF should be utterly ashamed of hosting an expensive birthday bash for their aging ruler whilst more than 90 per cent of Zimbabweans are wallowing in grinding poverty caused by decades of Robert Mugabe's misrule and mismanagement of the economy.
The money that is being budgeted for this ill-conceived birthday bash should actually be used to import maize to avert the impending starvation in Masvingo province and other parts of the country."
Critics blame Mr Mugabe for many of the problems facing the country.

Sunday daily devotion by Pastor E. A. Adeboye (Open Heavens 28 February 2016)– Love, the Fulfillment of the Law II

Memorise: By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments. – 1 John 5:2

Read: 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 (KJV)

4 Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,

5 Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;

6 Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;

7 Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.

Bible in One Year: John 3:16-4:30, Job 30:9-16

The memory verse for today tells us in very strict terms the godly means of measuring love among brethren. Any show of love that does not stem from the love of God and obedience of His commandments, should be considered fake and deceptive. It should be noted that the focus of Apostle Paul here is not on the fulfillment of the Mosaic Law, but rather about the biblical principle as established by God for Christian practice. This is to cement in our hearts the teachings of Jesus which emphasizes that we are not operating under the law anymore, but under the love of Christ. Living under the grace and liberty of Jesus empowers humanity first to love God and then to love one another.

The big question is, in what sense does love fulfill the totality of the law? And, how does the idea of fulfilling the law through love compare to doing the works of the law? Romans 13:9-10, says:

“9 For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. 10 Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.”

The answer to the above question is embedded in this passage. Accordingly, if the love of God is shed abroad in your heart, you will be able to fulfil the law without grumbling, but with joy. This is why Paul reduced the commandments to only one, “Love is the fulfilling of the law.” As I have often counselled my children, Love can insulate you from the pain, discouragement, and difficulties associated with any given task. Love can reduce the length of an assignment from years to days by fulfilling each day with excitement, hope and fun. Jacob served seven years for Rachel; and they seemed unto him but a few days, because of the love he had for her (Genesis 29:20). No price is too much to pay for the one you love. Jacob served a total of 14 years waiting for Rachel, but did not realize he had waited that long, if a man truly loves a woman, he will be prepared to wait for her to be ready before marriage. The one who loves you will not compel you to sleep with him before you are married. To the world, one faulty yardstick for measuring love is one’s readiness to go into pre-marital sex. Anyone who claims to love you but cannot wait for you to be ready before you go into marriage does not truly love you. Love is not hasty but patient. Anyone who is not ready to pay a price for you does not really love you.

Furthermore, obedience is the natural result of love. You will never want to disobey or rebel against the authority of someone you truly love. All the vices mentioned in the above passage such as adultery, murder, stealing, false witness, covetousness, and others are not compatible with love, rather, they are all contrary to love. It is absolutely impossible to think about doing any of these to your neighbour while also claiming to love God. This is contrary to the Word of God (1 John 4:20).

Prayer Point: Father, please help me to love you and my neighbours in practical terms in Jesus’ name.

Open Heavens 26 February 2016: Friday daily devotion by Pastor E. A. Adeboye – Abundant Life after Death

Memorise: And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely. – Revelation 21:6

Read: Revelation 21:1-7 (KJV)

1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.

4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

5 And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.

6 And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.

7 He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.

Bible in One Year: Luke 23:6-24:53, Job 29:7-20

Some of the major quests of humanity are the search for the existence of God, the nature of religion, and the possibility of life after death. Out of deep concern for this topic, philosophers and the great world religions constantly debate specific views about life after death such as reincarnation, resurrection, and some other options. Over the years, philosophical speculations on life after death have yielded various theories on the immorality of the soul, to prove that the soul can exist apart from the body, and thereby suggesting that the human soul will live on after death. This view is well suited to our religious beliefs, because it is something like this that gives people hope in the face of death. The question that must be asked, however, is whether there is any good reason to believe in life after death. Is it a reasonable hope or nothing more than wishful thinking?

Though the average Christian does not need anyone to convince him about the reality of life after death, but generally speaking, it is necessary to consider some facts which are not widely known. There is actually empirical, observable and scientifically verifiable evidence about life after death. This evidence is usually provided by a phenomenon known as a “near-death experience” (NDE), which is an experience where a person who is considered to be clinically dead, is involved in a disembodied state of existence, or other aspects or forms of an afterlife. While in a state of the absence of any discernible signs of life, such as consciousness, pulse, or breathing, some have reported such experiences as having the sense that one is dead and looking down on one’s body. Others have reported things like travelling down a tunnel or a dark passageway, meeting other persons or supernatural beings, seeing beautiful scenery, re-entering one’s body, and experiencing feelings of peace. In some cases, some have shared their experiences about a terrifying visit to hell. It is important to note that most of these people give a very vivid account of their personal encounters.

On the basis of divine revelation, we are confident in the promise of everlasting life. As Christians, we affirm the biblical teaching that human beings do live on after physical death. We can therefore confidently answer the question of life after death in the affirmative. We can say beyond any reasonable doubt, YES, there is life after death. Not as an ordinary life devoid of the divine essence, but an abundant life in accordance with the Word of God in Revelation 20:6 that says:

“Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.” - Revelations 20:6

Life after death offers abundant life to all that will faithfully serve the Lord till death. First, we will partake in the first resurrection, and then the second death will have no power over us. We will automatically become priests of God, with the special privilege of reigning with Him for a thousand years. What a life to look forward to, I pray we will all make it there in Jesus’ Name.

Prayer Point: Father, please grant me the grace to faithfully serve you till the end in Jesus’ name.

The Naira-Dollar blues By Reuben Abati

“My brother, e ku exchange rate oh.”

“Excuse me?”

“I am greeting you. I am saying how are you and the exchange rate palaver. The dollar wahala”.

“So, that is why you are saying e ku exchange rate. Is something wrong with you Yoruba people? Must you turn everything into a form of greeting?”

“You are insulting me?”

“I m making a statement”

“Any serious matter at all, you and your people must turn it into

something else. E ku exchange rate? What kind of greeting is that? Yoruba will say e ku election, e ku democracy, e ku change, e ku ana, e ku gbogbo e, gbogbo e, e ku democracy. I am tired of answering you people and your cynical greetings.”

“The people don’t mean any harm.”

“That was how somebody came to me the other day and said e ku Mecca, Medina, e ku Qatar. I felt like slapping the guy.”

“I don’t like hypocrites.”

“Would you have felt better, if he had told you e ku living upside down, e ku idorikodo, e pele change?”

“I would just have been livid, because I know you and your people. Too much cynicism.”

“Can you stop?”

“You know me, I speak my mind.”

“No. You are beginning to sound like Donald Trump. Stop Trump-ing other people, just because you don’t know where they are coming from.”

“But of course I know where you are coming from when you say e ku exchange rate”.

“Where am I coming from? I just left my house”

“My friend. Sit down. “

“You too stop going upanddan”

“Okay, you want to talk about exchange rate. I am listening. The way it is, everybody is now an economist in Nigeria. Even my driver yesterday was telling me about the behaviour of the parallel market. And I overheard the nanny commenting on the 2016 budget and how it may, in the long run affect the housekeeping allowance.”

“That’s a criminal in the making. You should sack that housekeeper. She certainly wants to pad the housekeeping allowance.”

“You know these people also watch television. She must have listened to stories about padding on television and radio may be, and she may think it is perfectly normal in today’s Nigeria to pad figures.”

“These things run deep, I agree. But a crook is a crook. Better keep an eye on that housekeeper and let her know that this is the era of prudence, discipline and you-steal-you-get-caught-you-blame yourself-and-may-be-go-to-wa wi-tenu-e places.“

“Don’t worry, I am the EFCC of my house, nobody can pad anything. I am on top of it. I do more market research and monitoring than Madam.”

“I don’t get it. You now go to the market while Madam stays home?”

“You can say what you like, but I can tell you authoritatively that a bag of rice which used to be N8, 500 is now N12, 500. Pampers was N1, 450, it is now within three weeks, N1, 850.”

“What’s your business with pampers?”

“What is not my business with pampers? I am a very active man, upstairs and downstairs. You don’t think I should be interested in all things material and particular and eventual? “

“You have really changed. What happened to you?”

“Are you interested in my findings or you want to discuss something else?”

“Carry on. I am listening.”

“A congo of garri was N250 a few weeks ago, it is now N500”

“Common garri?”

“Garri has changed oh. It is no longer common”

“Stop saying really? Be a man and do your own research before Madam and the housekeeper drive you into bankruptcy by adding something of their own to the real figures and giving you false information. You must be proactive.”

“I am with you”

“See, I like to drink Andre. A carton used to be about N20,000. Can you believe it has jumped up to N24,500?”

“Andre? What is that?”

“It is a kind of wine. Middle class taste. I like it.”

“So cheap? Some other people drink Crystal, Cliquot, didn’t know you are just a bush man with all your big mouth. Andre. Please stop disgracing somebody.”

“A carton of Carlo Rossi, a week ago was N14,000, it is now N17, 500.

“Carlo Rossi? Who is that? A football coach?

“Even the cost of paraga and alomo, kasaprenko has gone up.”

“You drink all of that too?”

“A carton of Orijin was N2, 900 the other week, it is now N3, 300”

“You keep talking about drinks. No wonder you have also been monitoring the prices of pampers. You can’t know the prices of these concoctions and not cause some maternity ward problems.”

“I am giving you real figures. And that is why I greeted you, e ku exhange rate. The Naira has been dancing like a yo-yo, and the dollar is the queen of the foreign exchange market in Nigeria today.”

“The colour of change.”

“The Naira even exchanged for N390 to the dollar, and N500 to the pound.”

“Nobody is talking about the pound.”

“It is the American age. You’d think the Americans were the ones who colonized Nigeria with the way they have colonized the Nigerian exchange rate. Practically everyone is looking for the dollar, you would think the Naira never existed. We definitely have an economic identity crisis. ”

“My driver told me he has a solution to the problem”

“I have heard some petrol station attendants also saying they will solve the problem.”

“I am not joking. My own Pastor actually told us on Sunday that the problem with the Naira is spiritual and that with prayers, the Naira will regain its lost strength.”

“Well, the petrol station attendant has a different logic, and his own logic is even different from my driver’s.”

“That is the problem. Everybody in Nigeria today is now an economist. Very soon, the roadside imbecile will issue an opinion on how the Naira can be saved.”

“Are you sure that has not happened yet?”

“I went to a barbing salon last week, and the barber lamented that his prices would have to change”

“Exchange rate and crude oil prices, he said”

“By the time landlords start blaming the exchange rate and the spot price of crude oil, and they fix prices differently, we would all be in big trouble.”

“But what happened to that campaign?”

“Which one?

“The Buy-Naija-To-Grow-the-Naira campaign, promoted by Senator Ben Bruce and others.”

“Ha. You have not heard? The Common Sense Senator published a book on Common Sense, but it was discovered that the man preaching buy Naija, published his own book in the US of A.”

“What do you mean so? Should he do one thing and say another?”

“Let the people criticizing the Senator go and sit down, and keep quiet. The man is a thinker. They should know that. When they go to his Silverbird cinemas, do they watch Nigerian films there all the time, or do they eat guguru instead of pop corn?”
“I am listening”

“And have they seen Senator Bruce wearing local attires like a fisherman? This thing is about ideas. And that is why I always argue that what we need is not common sense, but uncommon sense. When you confront Nigerians with common sense, they will start looking for loopholes”.

“I just hope that your common sense Senator is married to a Nigerian woman, because that is the best way to grow the Naira.”

“What is that? Where is that coming from?”

“I don’t think anybody can preach buy Naija to grow the Naira, and then go and marry a foreign wife, that will be hypocrisy of the highest order!”

“What is the connection between where a man marries from and the Naira?”

“There is. Please, there is; it is the biggest money laundering offence.”

“You have started again. Who are you trying to shade?”

“Nobody. But if we want to really save the Naira, everybody should buy Naija.”

“That is too simplistic. Except you are trying to suggest that our Governor-friend with Cape Verde connections has also refused to buy Naija and therefore has a hand in the problem with the Naira.”

“He is our friend oh. Please, no comment.”

“Some people say to save the Naira, not even the bedroom should be outsourced, and that the biggest drain on this economy is the obsession of the Nigerian rich with all things beautiful and romantically seductive from foreign countries.”

“I can’t comment on that.”

“You are saying all of this because Ben Murray Bruce printed his common sense book in America?”

“I am saying we all need to rescue the Naira and the economy. The economy first!”

“You are beginning to sound like a vulcanizer. It is not your job, it is not my driver’s job, and the petrol station attendants should just keep quiet. Na only we dey OPEC?”

“They won’t. They can’t. This is a democracy and we all have a right to make policy. If we don’t speak up, some people will pad things again and things will get worse.”

“It is Godwin Emefiele’s job”

“Him na your brother?”

“He is the Governor of the Central Bank”

“What do you mean, really?”

“What are his views on monetary policy?”

“Go and ask him”

“And fiscal policy?”

“Go and ask the Minister of Finance?”

“We have a Minister of Finance?”

“Of course we do”

“And who is that?”

“Wait a moment. What’s that her name again?”

“Wait. I am trying to remember. Em…em…yes, 16+6= 24!”

“You mean you can’t connect the monetary side with the fiscal side of the Nigerian economy, you are busy just saying… Okay, don’t bother, I get it.”

“Candidly speaking.”

“Don’t worry, the people who are benefitting from the Naira crisis know her and they know her name and they know the CBN Governor too. In case you don’t know, while you are busy trying to put people down, some other Nigerians have made a fortune from the Naira-Dollar palaver.”

“A fortune?”

“Yes. That is the difference between people who are clever and those who just complain. One of my wife’s friends is almost a billionaire now because the Naira crashed.”

“How did she do it?”

“The God of Olajumoke intervened. The God of Adekunle Gold picked up her call. And the God of Korede Bello said she had won. Her warehouse is profiting from the difference. So when you talk with that your sharp mouth, just know that in every economic situation, there are both happy and sad stories.”

“But there are standards, normative contexts, economic frameworks”

“If you don’t get it, you can’t get it. If you don’t mind, please, I don’t want a lecture on that.”

Photos: Buhari meets with President of Islamic Development Bank, welcomes offer to develop Nigeria

President Muhammadu Buhari says the offer by the Islamic Development Bank (IDB) to organize a financing roundtable in Abuja to mobilize more funds for investment and development of infrastructure in Nigeria, is highly welcomed by his government.

Buhari said this during his meeting with the President of the IDB, Dr Ahmed Mohammed Ali in Saudi Arabia today February 25th.

A statement by Presidential media aide, Shehu Garba, states that Buhari during the meeting, restated his government's determination to revamp and diversify the Nigerian economy rapidly.
"The days of Nigeria as a big oil producer with plenty of money are gone. We need all the support we can get to diversify our economy as quickly as possible. We also need to rehabilitate our infrastructure, develop the domestic capacity to feed ourselves and export the surplus,".
President Buhari welcomed the plan by the IDB to fast track the take-off of the Bilingual Education Program, aimed at integrating the Almajiri system of education with Western education in Nigeria. IDP President, Dr. Ali assured President Buhari that the IDB will work with its traditional partners such as the Saudi Fund, the Kuwait Fund, Arab Bank for Development in Africa and the Abu Dhabi Fund, to increase the quantum of funding available to Nigeria.

The IDB has already provided US$ 98 million for the Bilingual Education Program in Adamawa, Gombe, Kaduna, Kano, Kwara, Nasarawa, Niger, Osun and Yobe. The bank plans to support similar projects in other states of Nigeria.

Masters Degree Holder Quits Job To Become Porn Actress

A high-achieving graduate has lifted the lid on why she turned her back on a promising career to pursue her dream of becoming a PORN mega-star.

The 26-year-old woman, Alix Lynx says she first realised she wanted to be a porn actress after watching a documentary about the industry. She says porn is something she had always wanted to do since she was a teenager.

Alix worked hard to earn a degree in communications and then an MBA in digital marketing, and was rewarded with a string of office jobs.

But the corporate world just wouldn't do for this 25 year old blonde, and after a stint doing webcam shows, she decided to carve out a career in porn.

And she reckons changing career is the best decision she's ever made.

Alix's dad works in construction and her mum has a PhD, and she credits them with giving her a "really good upbringing".

An MBA in digital marketing followed and she began carving out a career in public relations, working her way up to account executive in just six months.

But when her employers lost a few clients, she found herself laid off, and after a brief stint working in social media, she changed tack completely.

When a male friend told her he couldn't stop watching webcam shows behind his girlfriend's back, she says a "light bulb went off" in her head.

She set herself up as a webcam girl and quickly learned the trade.
Alix told "I had no idea what to expect. When you're a new girl, you're labelled in bright yellow.

"Members love new girls because they're "fresh meat," so they flocked to me when I logged on."

Eventually, she quit her job, which gave her a "crazy feeling of ecstasy".

And at the age of 25, after a year of working as a full-time webcam girl, she flew out to California to pursue a career in porn.

She kept her kinky job hidden from her family until August when her Facebook friends shared a viral video of her simulating oral sex with a lollipop.

While she admits her family doesn't approve of her job, she insists they are "actually very supportive" of her choices.

Now, Alix says she wants to reach the top of the porn world.

She added: "I look around at people in my circle and see that deep down, they have a dream but won't do it because of the stigma.

"They'd rather stay in the bubble working for the man."

Popular Abuja RCCG Pastor pulls out to set up his own Church: The story of Pastor Peter Balogun

Not a few people who know him were surprised by his latest move. It was obvious that he would have to leave the Redeemed Church sooner than later.

Popular Radio preacher and the organiser of the crowd pulling Destiny Encounter programme Pastor Peter Balogun has eventually pull led out of the Redeemed Christian Church of God.

According to reports, his first service as the General Overseer and founder of his own ministry and church, Citizenship Church is expected to take off today at Jabi Abuja.

All arrangements have been put in place to ensure that the new church’s take off was smooth.
Peter Balogun, many would recall was the pastor at the very popular Central Parish in Wuse 2 Abuja until sometimes in 2014 when he was transferred in circumstances believed to be controversial and many of the well to do members of the Parish did not like the decision.

Even when he was moved to Jikwoyi , an Abuja suburb, he continued with his popular programme, Destiny Encounter and his continuation as well as the growth of the programme seems to have irked many of the leaders of the church in Abuja who moved against him and decided that proceeds from the programme should go into the church account, a  decision he resisted.

The culmination of the stiff resistance was his decision to part ways with the church by establishing his own church the Citizenship Church. The former NNPC staff is married with two kids. He left NNPC years back to begin work as a full time pastor in RCCG. He became a full time pastor while he was in Benin Edo State and from there he was posted to Abuja and after serving in two different parishes, was moved to the Central Parish as the Area Pastor.

The Central Parish is the richest of all the Northern parishes and one of the richest in Nigeria. It has ministers, top government functionaries as well as top people in the private sector as members. While there, BALOGUN started his radio programme as well as the monthly Divine Encounter programme which gave him a lot of followers hip especially with youth and singles. His motivational abilities also stood him out, so also his anointing in terms of prayers.

By the time they forced him out of the Central Parish after he had spent more than the mandatory  three years, not a few people knew that it was only a matter of time before he leaves the Redeemed Church and start his own ministry which he eventually did a few days ago.

Jonathan’s former ADC files N100million lawsuit against EFCC ‎over unlawful detention

Former ADC to former President Jonathan, Col. Ojogbane Adegbe, has filed a N100 million lawsuit against the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) over claims of unlawful detention.

In a fundamental rights enforcement suit filed by his counsel, Ogwu Onoja (SAN) before the High Court of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) in Gudu, Adegbe said he has been in EFCC custody since February 11 and has not been charged with any offence.

Adegbe argued that the EFCC has violated his right to personal liberty and freedom of movement as guaranteed under Section 35 and 41 of the 1999 Constitution by his detention. He said the army authorities had summoned him from the United Kingdom where he had been attending a course since he finished serving as Jonathan’s ADC on May 29, 2015 to honour EFCC invitation over his alleged involvement in the disbursement of the $2.1 billion arms deal fraud.

No date has been fixed for the hearing of the suit..

Schoolboy's mum furious after he wins competition to live with porn star for a month

A teenage schoolboy is over the moon after winning a month living with a porn star in an online competition.
Ruslan Schedrin, said to be 16, could spend a month in a hotel with X-rated movie actress, Ekaterina Makarova.
Astonishingly, Ekaterina, hasn't ruled out having sex with the teenager.

But his mum and sister are furious, insisting the prize is inappropriate for a 16-year-old(the age of consent in Russia), adding that he should be concentrating on his education.

He said:
"I didn't believe it at first, I thought it was rubbish.
"But when it turned out to be true, I thanked the website - I was so happy.
"I called my friends and they did not believe it either. They said, 'What are you talking about?' Now they are happy for me too. Some of them are envious.""I saw her and I liked everything. She has got good sizes.
"I am looking forward to our meeting so much - everything is boiling inside me. I am happy so much.
"I have told my mother and she has taken it badly, but I think we'll sort it out.
"When I meet the girl, I'll say, 'Hi, I am that very boy, I've won you.'
She said:
"I am absolutely against it. He has got exams, he is studying. What do you mean - a month with a porn star?
"This is not real at all -even a week is too much. They should give us 100,000 rubles (£931) instead - we'll be happy with it.
"Such a prize - how could they get such an idea for a 16-year-old boy? I am shocked. I have not seen the girl, but my son must study."
Ekaterina agreed months ago to be the prize in a competition for the 100,000th visitor to a new website selling virtual arms for video games...
She added:
"I will travel to Moscow and then the boy will decide.
"We will negotiate it with his mother too if he can live in a hotel with me, or fly with me somewhere. He has some exams and studies."
When asked if the prize included having sex with her, Ekaterina refused to rule it out, adding:
"It is not supposed but life is life.
"It is a usual thing when inexperienced boys are looking for more experienced girlfriends. I don't know. At least we'll be friends. I liked him in the photos.
"If he is not comfortable about a hotel, he can stay at home. He has to decide."

"My Gold Shoe Can Buy Linda Ikeji's Hermes Bag, So Let Her Stop Her Noise"-Rotimi Odunayo

UK based celebrity photographer and CEO of Events Reloaded Media, Mayor Rotimi Odunayo made this statement over the fallout from the controversial Hermes bag drama involving blogger Linda Ikeji.

In a post on his website, Rotimi said: ”My gold shoe is worth her bag and she can google it on the internet and see the price and the shop I bought it from in the UK. Linda should focus more on helping and supporting Nigerians with her wealth of experience in the industry not showing off with things of life.

”It is high time Linda keeps quiet and focus on her blogging and think of ways to expand in business and support those that needs to be helped in the society. As per the fight with Wizkid? I believe they can settle it in the closet rather than public.”
To me he is doing the same thing as LINDA IKEJI ...

I challenge Pres. Buhari to involve the youth to provide solutions to the economic challenges facing Nigeria today- Summy Francis

Summy Francis is the president, Africa's Young Entrepreneurs...Read what he wrote below.
It is of great concern that the status of the Nigerian economy has affected both the young and old. The youth are in total defiance of what our leaders have driven the nation into with unism of thoughts and actions. I urge Nigerians to stay calm and positive as the catastrophic and calamitous state were mistakes of some arguably past leaders and generation.

I ponder on how our Nation's economic stance has been viewed with disdain by some world powers even the citizens. It is a note to us that we can't give the right to a solution to those who brought it upon us. Fellow Nigerians, our inability to self-sustain through our manufacturing, agricultural and natural resources sectors have encouraged unprintable names such as radical consumers, aggressive buyers and the dumping site for unconsumed or faulty parts on the "Giant of Africa" .

A country with over 180M citizens scampers for crumbs and pleas for debt reliefs rent the nation's air. Conditions are been stifled with the geometric increase of the dollar to the Naira, inconsistent policies excavate the markets potential hence the dearth of businesses and plummeting prices of oil worldwide. In the words of Aries Spears; "To sustain longevity, we have to evolve." His Excellency, President Buhari should consider entrepreneurship solutions as a bounce back of the country's economy. The intervention of young brilliant minds should be employed for vibrant positions in the regions of governance rather than mere blogger and photographers.

We are smarter than the positions ascribed to the youth. The buoyancy of most nations is in the vibrancy of the youth; the ministerial cabinet has less than 3% of Nigerians aged 50 and below. On the otherhand, I beseech all political parties and heads to shove aside their political differences; they should come together as great citizens of the country to fix our national issues.

These issues are a ticking time bomb that will be carcinogenic and should not be handled with kid gloves. Nigeria is our future and they should stop toiling with it ! If Mark Zuckerberg's (31yrs) annual net-worth generated can sustain a large percentage of Nigeria or Jan Koum at 39yrs generating the allocation of more than 29 states or Ashish Thakka (34yrs) earning more than the entire South-West states and Colin Thornton (35yrs)ROI is higher than IGR of Lagos State.

These examples have a unifying tone, they are all young entrepreneurs and not politicians. Recently, every strata of discussion and campaign suggest, 'Made in Nigeria' but my question goes thus; with what skills, with what machinery and with what infrastructures do we achieve this? The enabling environment must be provided for businesses to thrive as the necessary resources such as power must be addressed to reduce the dearth of start-ups and SMEs.

History has a place in time, President Buhari led this great country at the age of 41, Yakubu Gowon at 32, Aguyi Irosi at 42 ,Muritala Mohammed at 37 ,Ibrahim Babaginda at 44 and Olusegun Obasanjo at 39.Therefore, we cannot undermine the strength and mental capability of the youth as we are the nation's asset and should be involved in the economic development process. In the past weeks, there has been an outcry from thousands to millions of young entrepreneurs in Nigeria.

This has brought to our attention as an organization that we have no choice than to offer entrepreneurial solution kits to the current perplexity. We can proffer our economic solution portfolio (ESP) through our economic development team that will proportionately have a positive turn in rebuilding our nation and lift us from the dunghill. Conclusively, let us all remember that "We voted for change and we are entitled to be part of the change process."

Those who distorted the 2016 budget will be severely punished - Buhari

President Buhari has vowed to severely punish all those involved in the 'padding' of the 2016 National Budget. According to a statement by presidential media aide, Femi Adesina, Buhari said this while addressing the Nigerian Community in Saudi Arabia yesterday February 23rd.
“The culprits will not go unpunished. I have been a military governor, petroleum minister, military Head of State and headed the Petroleum Trust Fund.
Never had I heard the words “budget padding”. Our Minister of Budget and National Planning did a great job with his team. The Minister became almost half his size during the time, working night and day to get the budget ready, only for some people to pad it. What he gave us was not what was finally being debated. It is very embarrassing and disappointing. We will not allow those who did it to go unpunished," he vowed.
He reaffirmed his administrations zero tolerance for corruption"We have zero tolerance for corruption and other unethical practices. We will deal decisively with anybody found wanting," he promised members of the Nigerian community. He restated his administrations commitment to end Boko Haram "Our armed forces have done a great job of dealing decisively with Boko Haram. We are collaborating with our neighbors in the operations of the Multinational Joint Task Force to handle security threats in the sub-region and we have significantly destroyed the capacity of the insurgents,".

Ghana Denies Banning Imported Goods From Nigeria

Following a news report carried by the Vanguard newspaper that Ghana has placed a ban on some imported goods from Nigeria, the office of Ghana Consulate-General in a statement debunked the claim, saying that at no point did the Ghanaian authorities ban any imported goods from Nigeria.

Vanguard had on February 18, 2016 in a report titled: ‘Ghana bans goods from Nigeria, other countries’ stated that Ghana has prohibited some items from entry into its domains, following Nigeria’s footsteps that restricted 41 items from access to foreign exchange, adding that Ghana had however placed a ban on some goods from being imported into the country.

The statement reads: “The Ghana High Commission would wish to state categorically that the (story) is false and does not reflect the position of the Ghanaian Government or that of the Hon. Minister of Trade and Industry of Ghana, Mr. Ekwow Spio-Grbarah, as alleged by the Vanguard report.”

Wednesday daily devotion by Pastor E. A. Adeboye (Open Heavens 24 February 2016) – Heaven: Are You Prepared?

Memorise: Man that is born of a woman is of few days, and full of trouble. – Job 14:1

Read: 2 Timothy 4:6-8 (KJV)

6 For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand.

7 I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:

8 Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.

Bible in One Year: Luke 19:28-21:24, Job 28:7-19

In the Bible, the word ‘Heaven’ is often used in three ways: to described a physical part of the universe which is above the sky, the prevailing condition whenever God reigns in the affairs of men, and the invisible dwelling place of God, also known as paradise. Today’s devotional focuses on the need to prepare for heaven, the dwelling place of God, and what such a preparation entails. First, the Bible presents heaven as the dwelling place of God, where His manifest presence is a permanent feature, as He is the only source of light there. Because of the constant presence of God in heaven, it is a place of extreme joy and peace. Heaven is also a place of recognition, reward, celebration, and total rest from trouble. Holiness is the only acceptable currency in heaven.

Several passages of the Bible stress life’s mystery and brevity using two vivid metaphors of “a fading flower or withering grass” and “a swiftly passing shadow”. That life offers little joy, peace and satisfaction is well known even to children. Also, all human beings are familiar with the progressive labour, pain, insecurity, sorrow, and disappointments that we all have to endure as long as we are alive. Furthermore, the concepts of death and the afterlife presented in the Bible reveals the God had purposely packaged heaven as the final destination for all humans that pass the entrance examination. John 14:2-3 says:

“In my father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.”

This is an expression of God’s love and mercy to all human beings.  Out of this everlasting love, the Almighty God has convincingly and systematically revealed His eternal plans and purposes to humanity, about how we are created to start our lives here on earth for the singular purpose of doing the perfect will of God. This is to enable us live our lives in ways that honour God in all things, for the ultimate goal of spending eternity with Him in heaven. Therefore, the above passage makes it very clear that heaven is being specially prepared only for those who are prepared to do whatever it takes to enter. I therefore pray that God will help our preparations and graciously admit us into heaven in Jesus’ name.

Now, Matthew 19:23 says that a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven, not because riches and wealth are evil, nor because heaven was made only for the poor, but because the typical characteristics of affluent people are contrary to the will of God. Such behaviours include pride and confidence in human wisdom, fame, achievements, money, and power. Another found with these will not enter into heaven. The truth is; Jesus extends the promise of heaven to all who come to Him by faith without classifications such as financial status, gender, age, culture or nationality. Matthew 18:3 says except a person is converted and becomes a little child in faith, total submission and obedience to the will of God, he or she will not enter into heaven. Finally, Matthew 7:21 says, not all churchgoers will be admitted into heaven, but only those that operate in the will of God. The big question is, are you prepared for heaven?

Action Point: Father, please whatever will make me miss heaven; take it out of my life in Jesus’ name.

75-year-old Pensioner Slumps, Dies during Screening in Edo

A 75 year old local government pensioner, identified as Sunday Oboite, slumped and died at the reception of the local government secretariat, during a screening exercise by pensioners of the Oredo Local Government Area of Edo State yesterday.

The late pensioner, who retired from the Works department of the council, was at the secretariat for screening which the council had directed the pensioners to undertake before they would be paid their 10-month pension arrears.

He was offered a bottle of beverage and some water by a Good Samaritan after he complained of

He, however, slumped at about 1.20pm, before he was confirmed dead by some doctors at the council.

According to a source, his death sparked a protest among other pensioners, who were enraged by what had befallen their colleague.

The source said:

“Some of them complained that they had presented themselves for screening at the secretariat at about 8am, but were later informed to go to Urhokpota Hall, about 100 metres away. They also decried the delay in the exercise, which took hours before it commenced.”

The Chairman of the council, Mrs. Sweet Ikpomwosa, could not be reached for comments.

The Secretary of Oredo Pensioners Association, Mr. James Erhunmense, said that the late Oboite had arrived at the venue of the exercise alone and complained of not having any money to buy food and drugs.

He also said that the late pensioner was unable to go to the designated hall with his colleagues but chose to wait at the reception due to tiredness.

Another pensioner, James Omorogbe, said the computers used for the screening were always shutting down, adding that it took the death of their colleague for the council to provide them with chairs.

He said the death of Oboite could have been avoided if the council officials had prepared for the screening.

“Sunday said he had no money to buy food and drugs. For 10 months now, we have not been paid. Many others have died without collecting their benefits,” Omorogbe added.

Photos: Nigerian-born doctor left critically injured and fighting for life after being hit by lorry in Las Vegas

Dr Sebastian Kola-Bankole, from Camden, UK is fighting for his life after he was knocked down by a lorry as he crossed a road off the Sunset Strip on February 15. The 35-year-old doctor, from the Royal London Hospital, had flown out to Los Angeles before the accident for a friend’s wedding.

But his family, who have travelled out to be at his bedside, cannot find a record of him taking out travel insurance so they are faced with paying for his mounting medical bills. They have launched a £250,000 appeal for treatment and to bring him home to the UK.

Dr Kola-Bankole, who specialises in infectious diseases, has three broken vertebrae in his neck and has already had emergency operations to his spine, ears and arteries. He is in an induced coma in intensive care at the Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas and it will be at least two weeks before he is stable enough to be repatriated.
The cost of the treatment and of bringing him back to the UK on a  specialist medical flight is estimated to be £250,000. The online fund had today reached £100k just 48 hours after it was launched.

A close friend, Dr Pawandeep Sarai, who spoke to the Standard described the young doctor as the most selfless and giving person"
"He is still in a  critical condition. We are all doing everything we can for Seb to get him the treatment he needs and back to the UK. His family are obviously devastated by what has happened.
"Seb is just the most selfless, giving person, everyone who has met him will know what a huge personality he has.
"He volunteers for charities, he is always giving to others. He’s a very dear friend and a very caring doctor and he needs our help to get home."

Dr Kola-Bankole is believed to have been hit outside the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino. The collision is currently being investigated by Las Vegas police.
His friends, many of whom are  doctors, are now looking for a suitable hospital in London that will agree to take him. It is thought St Mary’s in Paddington could provide treatment.

Nigerian-born Dr Kola-Bankole  graduated from University College London in 2008 and was based until recently in the infectious diseases department at the Royal London, but had taken time off for the US trip.

"Seb is usually incredibly organised, but we can’t find any insurance for this trip... we’ve been on his email and looked in his flat. We are working on the assumption there is no insurance." said Dr Sarai

Saturday daily devotion by Pastor E. A. Adeboye (Open Heavens 20 February 2016) – Beware of Deceivers II

Memorise: But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry. – 2 Timothy 4:5

Read: Romans 16:17-20 (KJV)

17 Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them.

18 For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple.

19 For your obedience is come abroad unto all men. I am glad therefore on your behalf: but yet I would have you wise unto that which is good, and simple concerning evil.

20 And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.

Bible in One Year: Luke 11:1-12:34; Job 24:21-25:6

The Bible repeatedly warns children of God to beware of deceivers in the form of false teachers and prophets, because their operations are usually so smooth that their activities could be very difficult to pin down as errors. They present their messages as divine revelations received after much perseverance in prayers and rigorous Bible study. Deceivers present their deadly errors as newly discovered secret information that was specially revealed by God, as the preferred way of relating with Him in this generation. 2 Timothy 4:5 says:

“But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.”

It is an established fact that keeping the faith protected from the corruption of deceivers, requires the presence of the Holy Spirit, a knowledge of the Scripture, holiness, perseverance, Christian fellowship and spiritual maturity. This attributes must be present in a person’s life before the instruction in 2 Timothy 4:5 can be effectively carried out. The first essential step is to watch in all things. To watch, in this sense, is to pay close attention to the beliefs and practices of the Church, to ensure that they are ever in strict compliance with the Word of God. By so doing, even the slightest variation would be quickly noticed and corrected. Also, young believers will be protected from error. The second essential step is to do the work of an evangelist by demonstrating the full evidence of the ministry. If indeed the present generation of Christians would preach the gospel of Jesus Christ with power, such that miracle, signs, and wonders, are evident in our fellowships meetings, then the door shall be permanently shut against false prophets. Furthermore, 2 Timothy 3:16 says:

“All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:”

This passage boldly declares that everything documented in the Bible is given by God as a revelation of Himself, His commandments and teachings. This confirms the Bible as the only divine manual containing everything we need to know about the Almighty God and His created universe. The passage also emphasizes the art of teaching, reproof, and correction as means of keeping the Church clear of false teachers and their messages. Teaching is the primary task of Christians as indicated in Mathew 28:19. We are called to teach the whole counsel of God, shedding the light of the gospel over every aspect of life, for the purpose of remodelling our lives to be in compliance with the word of God. In addition to teaching, we must reprove by speaking against false teachers and their heretic messages. At the same time, we must make serious effort to bring false teachers and those influenced by their messages back to the knowledge of the truth.

Finally, there must be training in righteousness to learn how to do what is right, what is just and in accordance with godliness. Once again, beware of deceivers!

Prayer Point: Father, please let anything You have not planted in Your Church be uprooted today in the Name of Jesus.

Mystery: India-based Nigerian dies on eve of elder brother’s burial

Francis Okika Diei was one of Nigeria’s brilliant and determined youth that moved out of the country in the 70s in search of greener pastures.  He chose India. India became his second home for the next three decades, until last Saturday.

He worked hard.  He became a merchant of textiles, dealing in all things clothing and textiles. Okika visited Nigeria occasionally. As the years rolled by, he would visit home to see his immediate family on special holidays, his annual vacation or when he felt he wanted to be with “my family”. The family comprises his late parents and siblings.

Jebose, our country has been marginalised by our rogue leaders through the years, that’s why most of us ran away. But it’s still our nation and we must always return to invest in it, create opportunities for others with our investments. Nigeria is investors’ haven,” he once said during a facebook chat few years ago. Hence he frequented Nigeria within the past decades to invest in an unstable economy.

About nine years ago and during one of his regular visits to Nigeria, Okika met a charming girl next door. Her name is Adaeze. Few months after they met, they got married.

The marriage to a beautiful home girl sparked reasons to spend more time on each visit to Nigeria. The new couple was blessed with amazing two daughters. Life was happening so fast and fascinating for the young family. Okika would sneak into the country and stayed several months, spending time with his family in Abuja.

“He was such a quite loving father and husband. You could see how much he cherished and loved his young family”. Friends and family sources said he was also considering a permanent return to Nigeria as life had blessed him with an awesome family.

Last December, he returned to Nigeria and took his family to India to spend the holidays with him. Meanwhile, his eldest brother, the first sibling in his family had died in Lagos. The body of his eldest brother was moved to a mortuary close to their hometown of Onicha Ugbo. The family had planned funeral in January.

His wife, Adaeze, and the daughters were flabbergasted in India. They had stunning moments with their father and husband. Okika shared these proud, profound and enriching moments with his family vacationing in India on his daily facebook posts. He was a happy man, surrounded by the most beautiful treasure on earth, his gift from God: his wife and children, in his second country, India, a country he adopted many years ago.

The wife and daughters returned after the vacation in January to attend the funeral of Okika’s eldest brother in Onicha Ugbo mid last month. But he stayed behind in India to attend to urgent business and planned to join them later. The morning of the burial, Ogbuefi Donatus Diei, Okika’s immediate elder brother got a phone call from India.

“Jebose, I was on my way to the mortuary to bring home the body of my elder brother when I received a phone call from Okika’s friend in India. He told me he had been trying to call me the previous night. He said Okika called him and asked him to urgently come to his home because he was having a severe chest pain. The friend lived about one hour from Okika. He drove to his apartment after the distress call. When he got there, he banged at the door several times. There was no answer. He then looked around the building, found the landlord and a forced entry to Okika’s apartment was initiated. He was found dead by the door.

“The landlord called New Delhi police. The police came and his body was moved to the hospital where an autopsy confirmed he died of cardiac arrest. I am still stunned. I didn’t know what and how to tell my family that I lost my younger brother the day we were preparing to bury our elder brother. I composed my pains and allowed the burial of our elder brother to be completed before I finally broke the news to his young wife. Life, my brother. This Life…”

Last Saturday, Francis Okika Diei’s body was returned from India. His family prepares to bury a younger brother that died the night of the wake keep of their eldest brother. His young distraught wife is still in shock and traumatised. She summed up her pains in her facebook picture caption of their last picture together, thus:” So this is our last outing together?”

Thursday daily devotion by Pastor E. A. Adeboye (Open Heavens 18 February 2016) – The Great Helper

Memorise: My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth. – Psalms 121:2

Read: Psalms 121:1-8 (KJV)

1 A Song of degrees. I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.

2 My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth.

3 He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber.

4 Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.

5 The LORD is thy keeper: the LORD is thy shade upon thy right hand.

6 The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night.

7 The LORD shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul.

8 The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.

Bible in One Year: Luke 8:1-9:20; Job 23:14-24:8

It has been said that one of the common features of Christianity is the diverse conflict that is targeted at a child of God from the moment of conversion; it presents itself as a permanent companion in the journey of life, and appears to become more intense as you progress in the Christian race. These conflicts may come in the form of physical, emotional, and spiritual attacks. They could sometimes be manifested as temptations, financial trouble, physical or health challenges, vocational problems, obstacles and obstructions, sickness or death of a loved one, stagnancy, discouragement, failure, depression, and family problems. Many of these may appear normal, but some are direct attacks on children of God, to hate, despise, persecute, oppress, blackmail, and even kill them. Yet, in the face of such malicious attacks, many Christians have persevered and stood firm in their convictions, with great grace and in defiant faith. Such people were able to stand in the face of evil, holding on to God’s promises for help. One of such could be found in Hebrews 13:5-6 that says

“5 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. 6 So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.”

I pray that as you look up to God for help and assistance today, He will send help to you and you will never be disappointed in Jesus’ name. Like the saints of old, we are expected to build our confidence on the sure promises of God. King David in his affliction said, “My help comes from the Lord, the maker of heaven and earth" (Psalm 121:2) thereby revealing the source of his confidence. In the above passage, the word of God says, “I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee”. Because of this sure promise of God which can never fail, we may say with confidence that the Lord is our helper, a sure and dependable help in times of trouble. I decree into your life today, God will always be there for you as a reliable ally against all evil attacks in the name of Jesus.

A simple analysis of the statement “I will not fear what man shall do unto me" implies the inevitability of determined evil actions of men, but the Bible is saying that even in the face of such evil threats, we should not become fearful but remain confident, knowing that God will never fail us. However, there are conditions that a true Christian must meet to guarantee His assistance. We must be free from covetousness, and be satisfied with whatever we have. People with uncontrollable desires for delicacies, designer wears, social status, high offices or positions, and other worldly attractions, are usually a little desperate and unstable. Such people will do anything, including lowering their Christian standards, in order to retain positions that support their livelihood at all cost. You will not be driven by fear to sell-out your birth right or backslide into error in Jesus’ Name.

The promises of God are perfectly reliable because “God is not a man, that he should lie”, if God be for us, who can be against us? Who is he that will harm you, if ye be followers of that which is good?

Our confidence rests absolutely upon the promise of God. Hallelujah.

Prayer Point: Father, my confidence rests upon Your Holy Word, please be there for me always in Jesus’ name.

Kanye West loses $10million in sales due to pirated copies of his album after it was released on Tidal

Kanye West took a huge financial hit due to the poor roll out of his new album The Life of Pablo. His latest work has been pirated and downloaded so many times since its release that the rapper has lost $10million in sales. This all comes at a time when West has claimed he is $53million in debt.

The New York Post reports that if the 500,000 people who illegally downloaded the album in its frist day had paid the $20 it cost to buy the album West would have personally made $10million.
Kanye revealed on Monday that his album will never go on sale and will only ever be available on Tidal, the digital music service which is subscription based and owned by his friend Jay Z and other music artists.
'My album will never never never be on Apple. And it will never be for sale... You can only get it on Tidal,' wrote Kanye on Twitter.
'Please to all my friends fans and music lovers. Sign up to Tidal now.'
Tidal costs $10 to $20 a month, with fans able to get their first month for free

West may be able to make up that $10million he lost in album sales though, as fellow rapper The Game said he would give him that exact amount as an investment if he came to Dubai to skydive with him on Thursday.

West has yet to respond to this offer.

On Monday, West also expressed his anger towards Pitchfork, Rolling Stone, New York Times over their reception of his new album.
It was a bit surprising considering Pitchfork gave his album a very good 9/10 rating, Rolling Stone has given the work extensive coverage and the Times wrote in their review; 'Now his rapping is sparser, more pointed, less imagistic and more emotional. And when he truly needs to be heard, he can corral a dream team of collaborators. He’s so fluent that he can use others to speak for him, and be understood clear as day.'
On that same night he also called Puff Daddy 'the most important cultural figure in my life,' said that white people 'don't understand what it means to be the great grandson of ex slaves' and also noted that the 'system is designed for colored people to fail and one of our only voices is music.'

Kanye's rant came on the same night as the Grammys, where he was nominated for four awards including one for Best Album for his work producing the Weeknd's Beauty Behind the Madness. He lost in all four of his categories.
